Water-sensitive urban design (WSUD) is a design approach to help treat stormwater runoff in urban development. This design is an integration of the urban water cycle or treatment. This process is mainly use on stormwater runoff and groundwater and aims to minimise environmental degradation.

MUSIC Modelling (Model for Urban Stormwater Improvement Conceptualisation) is used in determining WSUD design and help achieved water quality target prior to discharging into authority’s asset.

GALLERY PROJECT

Some of Elitan’s Completed Projects

Elitan is experienced in MUSIC modelling and we will analyse the site and understand constraints in order to establish solutions. All authorities required 4 indicators to be met and they are:

  • Total suspended solids (TSS)
  • Total Phosphorous (TP)
  • Total nitrogen (TN)
  • Gross pollutants

Another Completed Project

Sample of Solutions in filtering contaminants

  • Rainwater tank
  • Swales
  • Bio-Retentions
  • EnviroPods
  • Permeable pavements
  • Landscape developments

These are some of the many solutions.
